Several weeks ago Will Richmond’s Videonuze hosted the 2011 Fall VideoSchmooze, which focused on online video advertising’s opportunities and challenges in 2012. Will led off with an interview of Eric Kessler, HBO’s co-president, focusing on HBO Go. Eric discusses the importance of the pay-TV ecosystem and why chord cutting is not yet affecting HBO. He also discusses the decision to not offer HBO GO as a standalone app-based service. Here’s the video:
